Barbara's Biography
Internationally renowned
spiritual intuit, medium, channel, author, artist, lecturer and ordained
minister, Barbara DeLong has been working professionally in the spiritual field
since the early 70’s in addition to being a full time special education teacher
and a single parent. . In the 80’s she began painting personal Mandalas for
friends. Since that time her paintings and the life readings that go with them
are now worldwide with over four hundred of them in private collections. These
individual paintings evolved into a circular oracle card deck called The Cosmic
Deck of Initiation. The deck was published in 1991, as a peaceful and more
spiritual substitute to the standard Tarot deck, with many thousands purchased
around the world. Barbara toured the country with The Cosmic Deck of Initiation
for over five years presenting them at conventions and book stores nationwide.
Barbara has done numerous
radio and television shows, and conventions and is listed in Hans Holzer’s book,
The Psychic Yellow Pages; The Very Best Psychics, Card Readers, Astrologers, and
Numerologists. Her readings come from a deep spiritual background and are
focused on giving the individual understanding of the pathway they are on, and
positive insight on how to enable the creative energies within to expand on the
human experience. The readings give a 12 month glimpse and go from the mundane
to the magical.
As an ordained Spiritual
Minister Barbara served a local Spiritualist Church as one of the rotating
ministers from 2003-2008, her platform mediumship was considered both accurate
and inspired.

and a plethora of spiritual material and energetic forecasts for each week of
the year.
Barbara offers private and phone readings, as well as parties and organizational
functions. She also is available for stores and conventions, and at psychic
fairs run by Programs for Human Development, or P.H.D.

In October 2009 she
launched her own radio show, “Night-Light”,
which features spiritual philosophy, questions and answers and free psychic
readings. The show also offers a platform for planting seeds of spiritual
insight as well as a showcase for featured psychic’s offering insight from a
plethora of different modalities.
“Secrets
of the Stones”,
is a recent project Barbara has been involved in. She wrote and narrated, and is
co-producer of this video that is in the process of being converted to a major
documentary feature. Drawing attention to aspects of our past that have more or
less flown beneath the radar has become a crusade of sorts and
is in the process of
being converted to a major documentary feature.
Her newest project is her
new book "Whispers of Spiritual Wisdom"
published by Oracle Publishing. It is a collection of her poetry and short
insightful spiritual insights. The book has gotten impressive reception and the
next book is in the works.
